HOPE. GRIT. HEALING.
hope /hōp/ noun; a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
At Three Strands, we believe that the source of true healing is hope. Returning hope to our clients—hope for freedom from addiction, hope for positive, healthy relationships, hope for meaningful work—is one of the most important things we do.
With hope, we can overcome difficult circumstances and begin again. With hope, we can engage with the trauma, the past, and the hard, painful times—and find the paths through and beyond.
Hope is the beginning of healing. At Three Strands, we know our clients are worth more than they have settled for—and believe that hope is the first step of the journey to a better life.
grit /ɡrit/ noun; courage and resolve; strength of character.
Our program helps clients find their true grit, true strength, and true self. Facing addiction requires courage and resolve like nothing else—and on the ranch, we build it together.
Our experiential therapy model demands a lot, but in the process, gives clients back the self-confidence and grit they didn’t know they had. Life on the ranch and in the wilderness will facilitate an environment where grit is required…and healing follows.
healing /ˈhēliNG/ noun; the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again.
Honest, 360 degree healing is the goal of recovery at Three Strands. The belief that everyone can be whole and healthy drives everything we do. Whether it’s a breakthrough on top of a mountain, finding purpose and peace in ranch chores, or telling a personal story–with all of its painful details–for the very first time in a group counseling session, we help clients find their own way to healing.
